Senior Technical Sourcing Management

Oversees and enhances the procurement of products and services, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards to support organizational goals. Provides essential support to AT&T’s Global Carrier Management (GCM) for voice services, encompassing both domestic and international operations. Manages and ensures compliance with GCM voice agreements and processes, as well as international traffic and performance metrics. Identifies and implements innovative technologies and automation opportunities to streamline organizational operations and improve overall efficiency.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: 

Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and automation, to support organizational goals.  Lead and oversee strategic technical sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards through supplier rationalization and selection. Collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Network Engineering, Product, and Finance teams. Manage GCM Development Project budget.

Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with security controls and contractual obligations.

Training and Development: Facilitate training and development opportunities for the broader team and partners on projects that you lead.

Performance Monitoring and Client Satisfaction: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements for both internal and external partners. Use client satisfaction surveys and project monitoring to resolve issues and measure success.

Supplier Relationship Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with technical suppliers, oversee supplier performance evaluations, and partner with other business units to align sourcing activities with business objectives. Work closely with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with technology needs, provide cost analysis support, and facilitate technology adoption.
 

Optimize Costs and Manage Risks: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize procurement costs, and manage risks associated with technology sourcing to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.

Create and review AI applications for voice team.

• Streamline contract management and data retrieval using advanced Generative AI (GenAI). This platform will enable users to access and retrieve contracts efficiently through natural language prompts. This innovation will enhance productivity, reduce legal risks, and provide actionable insights, benefiting businesses of all sizes. 

• Develop and support requirements for automation. 
  • Document and track all projects with expected values and milestones.
  • Support arbitrage and fraud identification using DEEP and other data repositories.
  • Automate reports to improve time spent for analysis vs. data gathering, partner with both external and internal teams.

Technical Requirements:

Power Query, M Language for customized query

Experience on Power BI reporting, Power query, M language and dataset manipulation.

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint online sites and lists
