About the role

PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Systems Analysts (Junior) to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD. Essential Job Function & Responsibilities Provides support for the NAVAIR RDT&E Network and its users at several locations (NAWC-Aircraft Division, NAWC-Weapons Division, and Fleet Readiness Center).  Facilitate the processes and tools/technologies indicated below: 
  • New device addition process
  • BMC FootPrints
  • IVANT
  • Genesys
  • Orion Solarwind
  • QRADAR
  • APC StruxureWare
  • Windows Server Update Services
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux Satellite Server
  • Host Based Security System
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution
  • Troubleshoots user workstations, servers, network switches and other IT devices.
  • Creates policy and procedure documentations.
  • Reviews ACAS results
  • Create RSA tokens for users.
  • Troubleshoot VPN issues.
  • Create and delete user for RDT&E outreach network.
  • Create Teamcenter account for users.
  • Assign IP Addresses to user workstations and laptops and RAS devices.
  • Monitor and configure RDT&E network routers and switches.
  • Perform network troubleshooting.
  • A Junior level person is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
Required Qualifications 
  • Less than three (3) years of experience performing work related to the functions in the job description.
  • Has an active Secret Security Clearance with SSBI
  • Security + Certification 
  • OS Certification obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Good Customer Service with Strong communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven experience in Windows Active Directory Administration, specifically to create, manage, and delete user accounts.
  • Understanding of IT Architecture principles and Active Directory placement and functions, group policy object procedures
  • Experience with troubleshooting RDT&E networks, VPN issues and network switches.
  • Experience with configuring network routers and switches.
  • Experience with ACAS, SCAP, HBSS and STIGs
Educational Requirements 
  • High School diploma or GED with formal IT related trade school training (i.e. IT related post-secondary non-degreed award / certificate program, industry recognized certifications and commercially available training programs) 
Work Location 
  • The principal place of performance is Patuxent River, MD.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
