The Research and Development Sciences (RaDS) value team in R&D IT brings together product management, engineering, and data science expertise to enable data and technology products and services that accelerate our scientists’ ability to discover and develop innovative medicines that change the course of human health. Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation and advance the drug discovery and development pipeline.
We are seeking an energetic and collaborative person to join the R&D IT RaDS Product organization. As a Product Analyst in the Composition of Matter Chemical Modality Design Product you will be part of a team tasked with delivering digital capabilities that help scientists design small molecules, peptides, and their conjugates as part of the Design-Make-Test-Analyze (DMTA) discovery cycle.This includes creating efficient foundational platforms to execution in silico and physical lab experimentation, use of cutting-edge computational tools, and AI/ML-driven analytics capabilities.
The Product Analyst works on cross-functional teams that bring together science, technologies, capabilities, and talent to create products that deliver high impact business value, insight, and a fantastic user experience to scientists throughout the life cycle of the solution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain assigned applications as technical owner throughout their lifecycles
Maintain a high level of relevant scientific & technology domain knowledge
Know the associated user base and their challenges as well as they do
Understand the external landscape and make comparisons that help make product decisions
Collaborate with Product Manager to establish goals and workplans
Execute assigned work in backlog & roadmap ranging from product discovery through product delivery and testing
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 2 years professional experience in technology product development OR scientific experience related to chemistry or biochemistry
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in matrixed environments, eagerness to learn, and drive for data-driven decision making
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban etc.)
