Purpose

Position involves exhibiting leadership by ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all the department's activities. Includes assisting with documentation and update of all departmental procedures.

Duties

Be proficient in all duties of Records Services Analyst II and consistently complete all assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner.

Analyze all current processes and make recommendations for improvements.  Assist in updating documentation of current Records Services processes.

Conduct training and provide support for current and new Record Services processes.

Provide leadership and assistance with departmental projects and research.

Organize and prioritize job requests.

Be accurate and proficient in the collection and tracking of data in order to submit information for monthly reports.

Perform other jobs/duties/reports as assigned.

Requirements

Experience – Must have at least three years of SECU experience.  Experience in Records Services a plus but not required.  Previous experience in a position involving direct branch or member interaction is a plus but not required.  Must have supervisory recommendation for position.

Education – Must complete the Credit Union’s Basic Module Program Requirements within 24 months of hire date as a condition of employment. 

Complete and thorough knowledge of Records Services.

Must be able to handle and respond to non-typical research requests from multiple sources.

Have ability to work with diverse groups of people at varying skill levels.

Demonstrate a focus on detail.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Be professional and have excellent communication skills when conversing with branches over the telephone or through e-mail.

Demonstrate the willingness and ability to train new employees.

Possess extensive knowledge of the Records Services invoiced accounts and along with good analytical skills for research, problem solving and understanding data. 

Possess strong technical and analytical skills for understanding, developing, and documenting processes to improve department's operations.

In the absence of the Senior Vice President, should be able to support department business in a responsible manner.

Be professional and be able to handle several tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.

Must be able to speak English fluently.

Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.

Must be cordial in all interactions with members and co-workers.

Reliable attendance is required.

Must be honest, hardworking, and dependable and possess a positive attitude.

Job Environment

Office setting with physical proximity to other employees.  Some background noise from other employees, scanning machines, and telephone.

Physical Demands

Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Job requires a substantial amount of sitting.

Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information.

Use hands and fingers to press telephone keypad and lift telephone receiver.

Must be able to comprehend phone calls.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
