About the role

Description

Help equip frontline clinicians with the skills they need to support people in crisis.

At Crisis Connections, training is more than scheduling sessions—it’s about ensuring our clinical staff are confident, prepared, and supported as they serve our community. As our Senior Training Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making that happen by coordinating high-quality clinical training programs from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, collaboration, and purpose-driven work—and who enjoys being the connective tissue that keeps learning programs running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate initial and ongoing clinical trainings, working closely with the Clinical Training Manager
  • Schedule training sessions, manage calendars, and communicate clearly with trainers, participants, and departments
  • Support the development and upkeep of training materials, online resources, and learning tools
  • Manage training logistics, including materials, attendance tracking, and learning management system users
  • Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on participation and completion
  • Support evaluation efforts by collecting feedback and helping assess training effectiveness
  • Ensure trainings are accessible and well-run across in-person, virtual, and blended formats

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, HR, organizational development, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • Experience coordinating projects, programs, or trainings
  • Comfort using learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • A collaborative, flexible approach and the ability to juggle changing priorities

Position Details

  • Schedule: 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week)
  • Pay: $22.69 per hour
  • Status: Non-exempt, union-represented position (OPEIU Local 8)
  • Reports to: Clinical Training Manager
