Could you be the full-time Global Buyer Facilities in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Gabriela Maftei (Indirect Domain Senior Team Lead, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated Commodity Leads and Commodity Managers in the global domains categories.

You'll be in charge of the deployment of procurement strategy across your commodity, secure demand and develop suppliers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business in procurement managing operational needs for headquarter (HQ) in line with strategies on Facilities Cluster (Catalog tools & Consumables, Real Estate & Construction, Energy, Industrial Equipment, Facility Management).

You’ll specifically take care of global supplier Panel relationship (supplier workload, negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier quality, cost & time delivery performances), and you’ll consolidate commodity needs and inputs across all regions.

 

We’ll look to you for:

Supplier relationship:

  • Ensure global targets achievement & claims management for the suppliers in charge
  • Lead supplier performance reviews
  • Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines.

 

Commodity support:

  • In charge of operational procurement activity
  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Apply the Alstom Procurement process, and provide return on experience

 

Operational involvement:

  • In charge of Buyer activity on several segments
  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Operational sourcing responsibility on negotiation, cross sites
  • Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, Volumes

  • Business School or Engineering school; MASTER in Purchasing (preferred)
  • Relevant experience
  • Fluent level of English; French is an advantage
  • International background is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization.
