Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive occupational health services at the CDC's campus locations. This role requires advanced clinical skills and experience in emergency response and occupational health.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Nurse Practitioner: $110k- $140k
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities Include:
- Provide primary and occupational health care, including medical and respiratory exams, immunizations, and treatment of work-related illnesses.
- Perform pre-travel consultations, administer vaccines, and provide travel medications.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and manage medical referrals.
- Document clinical interventions in the electronic medical record system.
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical supplies.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Provide support during surge events and public health emergencies.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Nurse Practitioner Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Graduate or higher-level degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or other recognized accrediting body.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in occupational health or related clinical settings.
- Experience in emergency response and managing health incidents.
- Experience in performing diagnostic tests and administering treatments.
- Strong clinical skills in providing occupational health services.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
