Indirect Fire Specialist

DUTIES:

• Receive, record and execute all Indirect Fire mission data using graphic user interfaces (GUIs) on a “Windows” based computer system. 
• Act as the interface between the Fire Support system and the Fire Markers in the field. 
• Must be able to maintain detailed records of all data.
• Must possess the ability to communicate over assigned radio using proper military communications procedures.
• Must be able to work alternating 12 hour shifts which include nights and weekends during training rotations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Required Experience: High School Diploma.
Desired Experience: Active Secret Clearance.

Additional Requirements: 

• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
