Job Description
In this hands-on role, you will direct the flow of work involved with receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of automotive parts in our 262,800 square foot warehouse facility on Camp Creek Parkway in Atlanta. The Warehouse-Manager for the Atlanta Distribution - Center will have the following responsibilities:
- Site management of the daily operational warehousing business at the Atlanta location
- Drive results and continuous improvement initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Costs and Delivery performance while ensuring compliance to corporate directives
- Manage of a team of direct reports comprised of operational leaders, trainers, and the facility and maintenance team.
- Set and drive strategic goals
- Oversee operational budget and spending
- Drive Bosch Production System principles, Continuous Improvement and Lean development in the warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply-chain or business administration
- 7+ years of experience in logistics, SCM or warehouse-operations
- 5+ years of experience with WMS systems
- 3+ years of experience in leadership, managing teams
- 3+ years of experience with MS Office-applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in Automotive industry
- Experience with production operations
- SAP or other ERP experience
- Experience with Tableau Application and Platform
- Extended Knowledge in BPS or similar system and Lean and Quality tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong judgment in establishing work assignments in the areas of responsibility and in the selection and interpretation of data
- Should possess skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve/exceed targets and goals
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Flexible working hours with the requirement to support a three-shift operation
- Willing to work a Flex Shift as necessary and based on business needs
