About the role

Provides personal care, exercise programs, and light housekeeping in accordance with a plan of care developed and supervised by a RN and/or rehab therapist.

It coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship to promote patient comfort and assist in the achievement of a comfortable and peaceful death.

Required qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year experience providing personal care, or working in homecare setting

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
