About the role

Senior Non-Certified Biomedical Technician - Clinical Engineering Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA   This position will float between Spokane, WA and Colville, WA.   Shift Details: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week   Responsible for installations, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance performance testing and major and minor repairs, and pre-purchase evaluation of medical electronic equipment and systems in assigned areas of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and for Providence Sacred Heart Engineering Services clients. S/he operates sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation. S/he analyzes data from inspections, performance tests, periodic maintenance and major and minor repairs of medical electronic equipment and prepares reports on findings. S/he comprehends medical electronic equipment and systems to a degree to enable modification of existing systems as required. S/he is able to perform Biomedical Equipment Technician II functions as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics or Military equivalent
  • 7 years of medical electronic devices experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical imaging experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
