Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Billing Coordinator for our Home Health Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Billing Coordinator you will:
• Works closely with Home Health clinical and administrative teams to ensures patient demographic information, payer information, codes and charges are complete and accurate prior to routing claim to HCHB for submission.
• Works closely with HCHB by reviewing/resolving initial denials, payer rejections, and claim errors. Reroutes resolved errors to HCHB for resubmission if needed.
• Performs cash posting, makes bank deposit and completes the Cash Application Process.
• Responds to all billing-related requests from internal and external customers in a timely manner.
• Supports the Home Health month-end close process by resolving all open/unprocessed items and generating required monthly reports.
• Reviews all final denials; and under guidance of Director, communicates write-off decisions to HCHB.
• Establishes and maintains electronic communication with payers and serves as Account Administrator with each payor.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma or GED required; A.A. or B.S. degree in Business/Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred or equivalent education and experience
• 4-6 years of experience in healthcare administration, finance or related field.
• Experience with Home Care compensation structures preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare business office preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Full-time Day Shift

Pay Range:

$53,316.90 - $74,643.66

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Exempt)
