Job Description
As an integral member of ServiceNow’s Global Learning & Development organization, the Senior Onboarding Delivery Instructor is responsible for delivering onboarding programs for new hire sellers, sales leaders, and other go-to-market roles. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that new hire sellers are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to excel in their roles. You will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement effective training strategies that align with the company's sales objectives.
The role is highly collaborative that involves working with key stakeholders in the Onboarding team, Global Learning & Development organization, and subject matter experts in the field, as well as engaging with new hires throughout their learning journey.
Training Delivery:
- Be a lead delivery instructor of onboarding curriculum for new hire sellers and sales leaders, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, industry insights, customer value realization, and the sales operating model.
- Use various training methods like presentations, role-playing, and hands-on activities to Onboarding curriculum in VILT settings.
- Leverage expertise and empathy to be a credible facilitator and coach for new hire sellers and sales leaders.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to new hires to reinforce learning and address individual needs.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders in the Global Learning and Development and throughout the business to stay updated on new enablement offerings that train on product development, sales techniques, industry insights, and other market trends.
- Collaborate with other Global Learning and Development members to design and deliver a holistic learning journey for sellers and sales leaders.
Incorporate Feedback:
- Leverage surveys to gather feedback from new hire sellers and sales leaders to continuously improve and evolve onboarding content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Global Learning and Development and throughout the business to identify areas for improvement and tailor onboarding programs accordingly.
Onboarding Documentation:
- Partner with Global Learning and Development colleagues to maintain onboarding documentation, manuals, and resources for ongoing reference.
Technology Integration:
- Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the onboarding experience.
- Stay informed about advancements in training technologies and incorporate relevant tools into the training process.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a master communicator, can distill substantial amounts of information into simple concepts and can build effective working relationships cross-functionally.
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelors / master’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in enablement as a trainer or leader of enablement programs.
- Experience developing and deploying global enablement programs at-scale for multiple personas.
- Strong facilitation skills, both in person and virtually.
- Understanding of and/or experience delivering enablement to software sales roles.
- Understanding of adult learning principles, enablement design and development processes with a focus on sales-specific programs and outcomes.
- Effective communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for learning new techniques and tools.
- Work with SMEs (both internal and external) to capture knowledge and real-world experience to be delivered within enablement initiatives and programs.
- Ability to maintain an elevated level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $143,300 - $233,851, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on
