As a Capital Markets Managing Director I - Trading within PNC's Capital Markets organization, you will be based in New York, NY.

Finra licensed required: SIE, Series 7 and 63. Required within 120 days of hire.

Preferences: Extensive background in banking & syndication of agency and non-agency CMBS securitizations.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage trading strategy and execution for select capital markets products. Makes markets in designated customer products and manages portfolio risk. Enforces team's compliance with risk and regulatory requirements. May be responsible for a team of traders.
  • Works strategically with traders, sales team, relationship managers, and investment bankers to develop and execute moderatly complex trading/hedging strategies. Maintains relationships with buyers and sellers. Drives accountability for business results and ensures appropriate training, coaching, development, and mentoring of staff.
  • Identifies relative value opportunities and make markets. Monitors market conditions and manages risk across specified team's trading portfolios.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop comprehensive capital markets selling strategies to maximize revenue and new business activity. Focuses market/product coverage efforts and ensures appropriate resource allocation.
  • Monitors trading activities, industry and market developments, and regulatory requirements. Enforces compliance with policies and regulations. Works with stakeholders to develop/modify relevant policies and guidelines. Provides coaching to team members.
