Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for our software applications to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support and assistance to end-users for software applications via email, phone, or in-person interactions.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots software issues reported by users, including investigating root causes and implementing solutions.
- Collaborates with the development team to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Assists in the testing and quality assurance of software updates and enhancements.
- Creates and maintains documentation, including FAQs and knowledge base articles, to help users resolve common issues independently.
- Participates in software deployment activities, including providing support during implementation and training end-users as needed.
- Monitors software performance and identifies areas for improvement or optimization.
- Stays up-to-date on software updates, new features, and best practices to provide accurate and timely support to users.
- Continuously seeks opportunities to enhance the user experience and streamline support processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in software support or a related technical role.
- Working knowledge and experience in programming languages such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with customer support tools and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as SQL.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in software development or related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms specifically Azure.
