Materials Coordinator at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift

Responsible for inventory management, ordering via Requisitioning and PO to include: Bill only / No Charge / Repairs, monitoring, and tracking of surgical implants, supplies and human tissue.  This position works closely with the specialty ANMs, Inventory Control Coordinators, and Material Management team to coordinate and ensure the delivery of products in a timely manner.  Participates in new product conversion and implementation activities and coordinates the delivery of implants and/or supplies from vendors and/or other facilities.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Experience in advanced computer software applications, including MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree. Or equivalent educ/experience.
    • Up to 12 months post high school training in a healthcare material management environment which utilized a perpetual inventory supply system.
  • Coursework/Training Completion of formal training program in materials management, surgical technology, or military hospital corpsman.
  • 2 years Current operating room.
  • Inventory control or accounting.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
