The Opportunity
This position is a onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.
As a Site Project Coordinator, you will engage in effective and open communication with site management team to enable efficient coordination of site activities and events. This position also provides administrative support to multiple levels of directors and managers as assigned. May provide back up support to higher-level management as needed. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.
What You'll Do
- Coordinates and maintains departmental files, as assigned, in compliance with corporate and government regulations.
- Follows Corporate Security and Privacy Rules, Co9rporate Branding Guidelines. May include some responsibility for tracing budget expenditures.
- Works with managers on extremely confidential activities of moderate to high complexity and must follow problems to resolution.
- Responsible for administrative functions including answering phones, calendar management, managing correspondence and scheduling couriers, event planning, creating or modifying business documents, preparation presentations, and onboarding assistance.
- May assist with creating and posting visual communications. Uses intermediate software skills to perform work assigned.
- Uses and understands Microsoft Office Suite and other business-specific software, including Maximo and Manhattan. Coordinates and assists with new employee set-ups and onboarding.
- May train/coordinate work for new receptionists.
- Works closely with management to support and implement business objectives and initiatives to ensure pertinent issues, changes, and updates are communicated.
