Your Impact
The SQA Engineer will perform one or more of the following tasks while working on Cisco's elite optical communication products. The Engineer will be assigned relevant work assignments to challenge them according to their current level of experience and capability. The Engineer may find themselves working in the following areas:
Contribute to development of test plans, test facilities and test automation software (C++, C#, Python or LabVIEW)
Implement manual and automated tests on new Cisco product software releases under supervision of senior SQA team members
Work closely with senior SQA team members to resolve issues by analyzing Cisco product under test while using various measurement instruments and automated debug software
Document detailed test results; analyze test results data for trends and anomalies
Learn to produce high quality code that is robust and maintainable
Minimum Qualifications
Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or relevant degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program + 1 year of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant experience) or Bachelors + 0 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include: Business, Supply Chain, Communications, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, etc.
Knowledge of Python, C#, or C++
Knowledge of LabVIEW
Able to legally live and work in the country for which you're applying, without visa support or sponsorship.
