Social Worker - Bi-lingual Spanish Family Planning Practice ACN Days

NewYork-Presbyterian's Family Planning Practice includes the Family Planning Center for adult and adolescent women through age 45 and the Young Men's Clinic for males ages 14-35. The Family Planning Center has been providing high-quality reproductive and sexual health services for women and adolescents since 1977. The center is known throughout the community as a point of entry for low-income women and young people to receive comprehensive reproductive health services at no cost or low cost.

You will meet clients in person addressing behavioral health care within a primary care Family Planning Practice in order to improve patient outcomes. You will provide clinical services such as mental health screening, short term mental health counseling, case management, and patient referrals to community and outpatients services.

Experience a place where your discipline is immensely respected. In this Social Worker role, you will be supporting the Family Planning Practice in the Primary Care setting at our Audubon location.

In this very busy practice, you will receive same day referrals and have to manage multiple priorities to ensure the best patient experience.

This is a 5 day a week position from 8am - 4pm.

3 days at the Family Planning Practice and 2 days school based .

Preferred Criteria:

• LCSW

• Bi-lingual Spanish

• Mental health counseling experience

Required Criteria

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• NYS LMSW
