What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all equipment, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance is performed on time.
• Create weekly, monthly, and long-term maintenance schedules based on equipment usage, availability, and criticality.
• Prioritize maintenance work orders based on urgency, equipment criticality, and resource availability.
• Ensure that planned work is aligned with production schedules to minimize disruption.
• Manage the work order system, ensuring that all work orders are accurately logged, prioritized, and assigned.
• Track the progress of work orders and update schedules accordingly.
• Review and close completed work orders, ensuring all necessary information and documentation are captured.
• Coordinate the availability of maintenance technicians, tools, materials, and spare parts for planned maintenance activities.
• Work with  Spare parts Specialist and procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials and spare parts.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Ensure PM tasks are properly documented and followed by maintenance personnel.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the PM program and suggest improvements where needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including equipment history, downtime, and costs.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, including key metrics such as equipment availability, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR).
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software to manage maintenance data.
• Work with maintenance techs and engineers to identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Contribute to the development of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in  initiatives for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and practices.
• Knowledge of SAP PM_ Plant Maintenance Preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.
• The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. 
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
