About the Role

Do you thrive in a setting where strong communication skills and confidence are essential? If so, we invite you to join our National Finance team as a Revenue Accountant based in Sydney.

As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance function, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and job reporting. You will collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams, working closely with our Commercial Manager providing financial insights that drive our business's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous management and monitoring of WIP across client portfolios ensuring all jobs are reconciled and are in line with client contracts
• Liaise with client engagement teams regarding open jobs, to confirm amounts to be invoiced and recognised as revenue each month
• Preparation of billing (invoice) pro-formas and liaising with key stakeholders for their review
• Review and reconciliation of JCR’s with client engagement teams and production experts.
• Monitor inter-company invoicing arrangements and issue invoices
• Preparation and analysis of monthly client overview reports and client retainer reconciliations
• Systems and process training for new starters and refresher courses for existing staff where required

Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities

• Previous experience in a similar role (1- 2 years) preferred
• Spectra PF experience (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communications skills
