Verafin - Senior Product Designer

We are looking for our newest Senior Product Designer who will be passionate about shaping the next generation of our fraud and money laundering solutions.  

As a Senior Product Designer at Verafin, you will have the opportunity of shaping cutting-edge experiences that empower our customers to fight financial crime effectively. Leveraging our design principles, you will work with a visionary team responsible for crafting seamless user interfaces, captivating user experiences, conducting rigorous research, and delivering compelling content design. Your creativity and expertise will be the driving force behind innovative features and enhancements that elevate the Verafin application to new heights and fortify our commitment to excellence. Role Responsibilities 

• Conduct user research and attend customer calls to perform usability tests, uncover problems, and obtain feedback 

• Leverage data, metrics, and customer feedback to guide design decisions 

• Create designs recognizing when diligent attention to detail is required and when fast low-fidelity sketches are adequate for forward progress 

• Ensure we are continuously delivering consistent, thoughtful and thorough user experiences 

• Apply systems-thinking to design problems to holistically scale the product forward 

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and partners from every corner of Verafin to deliver quality solutions 

• Mentor and provide feedback to other designers at Verafin to aid in their growth 

Essential Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role 

• A passion for talking to customers, building empathy, and deeply understanding their problems and requests 

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a variety of customer needs 

• Driven to keep up with design and industry trends 

• Strong experience with Figma and/or Adobe XD

• Consistently working with people across product teams through the design and development process. 

• Have a solid understanding of the goals Verafin product teams are striving for and your own strong opinions on how we can get there. 

• Show a mastery of the tools needed for your craft (Figma, Adobe XD, Pencil and Paper, etc.) and confidence to know which tool to use and when. 

• Be an expert in collaboration! Design is all about communication; next-level communication skills, including written, verbal, and visual are a must.
