In this key leadership position, you will:
- Oversee and mentor a diverse group of engineers, helping them grow and excel.
- Spearhead innovative engineering methods and lead short and long-term strategic planning.
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-tier solutions to complex problems, while communicating directly with clients to drive project success.
- Direct challenging engineering tasks, provide expert technical guidance, and shape the direction of major projects.
- Make business-critical decisions that will have a lasting impact on the technical and financial success of organization.
In order to thrive in this position, ideal candidates will have the following Education / Experience / Skills
- BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible commercial nuclear mechanical engineering experience.
- Prior experience in consulting engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Multidiscipline knowledge as well as quality management principles and practices required.
- Professional Engineering License preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to initiate a task, develop a plan of action, and persistently follow through to completion.
- Must be capable of developing plans to deal with the unexpected and evaluating alternate solutions.
- Must have a sense of urgency about getting results and consistently produces high quality work.
- Must be an effective communicator and be comfortable in dealing with people at all levels.
- Must show confidence in making technical and business decisions.
