About your future role
Your scope of work will be on the entire Issuing Business Unit product offering, with an initial primary focus on PaaS - Payment as a Service, which is the new frontier of digital payments for both consumer and business customers. It means creating and marketing cutting-edge, Nexi managed digital payments products to serve both Financial Service Institutions (FSI) and not FSI, primarily Banks and Corporates.

Your geographical focus will be primarily on DACH, as a key target market for PaaS and for the next-to-come issuing products as well. However, you will be involved as well on the wider European scope for our Issuing offering.

In this critical role, reporting into the Group IS Marketing, your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Execute the Issuing Product Marketing:
  • Conducting local analysis to understand the marketplace;
  • Analysing segmentation and targets, understanding how to fit with the local marketplace;
  • Analysing competitive landscape and market trends, crafting compelling value proposition aligned with target audience’s needs;
  • Adapting issuing product offering and packages to the local markets specificities, defining the best possible value proposition;
  • Adapting pricing, assuring a positive business case for Nexi;
  • Localizing product catalogue, product sheets and roadmap to fit with the local demand;
• Work with IS sales team to activate market:
  • Executing the sales enablement for IS products;
  • Participating in the sales cycles and customer-facing meetings as a product expert;
  • Co-working with prospects to match their needs with available IS products;

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Proven experience with product marketing in leading positions
• Accountability and result oriented approach with a “Customer first” mindset
• Business acumen and quantitative, data driven, thinking
• C-level customer and stakeholders management with great communication skills
• No fear of taking risks, with a strong problem solving
• Strategic thinker but with an “hands on” way-of-working, as a team
• Ability to work in a complex matrix organization, with a variety of team members across different departments, especially product management and sales
• German language level native
