This is an onsite role and will be part of the Distribution Operations Team in our Romeoville, IL location. 

This is a Day Shift position, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Reporting to the Distribution Area Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate picking, packing, over-labeling, kits building and shipping of all customer orders. In some areas, minor set-up and equipment operation may be required.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Pick items accurately to customer orders.

  • Pack quality products according to standard work and regulation set by compliance department, ensuring quality product is safely delivered to customer.

  • Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to pick ticket instructions.

  • Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping. 

  • Investigate aged and missing orders.

  • Comply with company safety policies & housekeeping policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, etc.

  • Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A minimum of a HS diploma/GED or equivalent.

It would be an asset if you have:

  • Prior distribution experience preferred.

  • The ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.

  • Proficient in using computers for data entry utilizing Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is constantly required to stand. The employee may occasionally squat, turn/twist, or reach.  The employee is constantly using hands to: finger, handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell.

  • The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
