What you'll take on

  • The Senior Benefits Analyst, Global Operations is expected to focus on the more complex and challenging elements of operational aspects of both day-to-day and project work.
  • Resolve issues independently, or bring recommended solutions to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits Operations, when identified by you or another member of our team or escalated to us by other internal or external stakeholders. 
  • Support operations of all benefit plans outside of North America:
    • Understand and document end-to-end benefits processes managed by local HR teams and ensure membership and enrolment information is maintained in systems and/or files
    • Work with vendors and brokers if required around aspects to ensure data exchange, reporting, issue escalations, invoices and changes in coverage
    • Support the renewal process by providing data such as census, cost, utilization, as well as feedback on vendor service and plan design
    • Support RFP processes during searches for new vendors, including setting up any new vendors involving aspects such as vendor security reviews and reputational screenings
    • Update configurations, file integration set-ups and other related updates, and undertake necessary testing when new programs/vendors, routine renewals and/or changes to processes or systems occur
    • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, payroll and government data submissions, as well as internal data security protocols
    • Reporting and analytics
  • Conduct operational day-to-day activities for UK and any other countries the benefits team may be directly responsible for
  • Carry out global program (currently includes wellbeing, charitable giving and volunteering, fitness reimbursement, employee assistance, family building and business and assignee medical and travel) operations tasks which additionally includes:
    • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to operationalise events, challenges, and other wellbeing activities
    • Prepare for, and contribute to, wellbeing operations calls
    • Prepare reports/statistics for Global Wellbeing Manager
    • Attend and support wellbeing champion calls
    • Support HR and help resolve any business travel or assignment queries
    • Prepare cost information to Global Mobility for any tax reporting requirements
  • Maintain benefits content in network folders, on intranet, and in various systems including Business Continuity documentation e.g., benefits contact lists
  • Provide operational support as needed in benefits-related projects including implementations, defining operational processes, writing test scenarios, testing and integrations and/or data transfers, setting up vendors, reporting and hypercare post go-live.
  • Ensure appropriate data transfer protocol reviews, reconciliations and audits are conducted on all data to/from vendors on a routine basis.
  • Provide input for the preparation and maintenance of non-North American country-specific and global benefit program communications
  • Complete benefit surveys for review by International Benefits Manager
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the Global Benefits Analyst as needed.

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of benefits administration experience at large companies.
  • Proven ability to evaluate, analyze, manipulate, make observations about, interpret and present data alongside a proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Deep experience with benefits enrollment/administration systems and HRIS, as well as an understanding of plan configurations. Experience with Workday a plus.
