About function
Financial Control as a department take ownership for the classification, consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks.
The Senior Financial Controlling Analyst role is supporting the Tanzania FC in the East African Group within Africa region.
About the role
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Support key financial controlling processes: month end and period end closes, journal entry preparation, financial statement preparation and review, KPI and data quality monitoring, balance sheet review preparation, adherence to CARM controls
Support that statutory and management reporting for the legal entities within the scope of the role is completed accurately, on time and in line with internal and external controls.
Prepare year-end statutory adjustments and transfer pricing reports with the relevant stakeholders in the market and in Group.
Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completion
About You
Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
Qualified accountant
2-4 years’ experience in accounting area
Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
Good understanding of the financial controlling processes (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
Good Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
Fluent English knowledge
