Senior Full-Stack Developer (Intraday trading)

At its headquarters in Switzerland and in 30 countries across Europe as well as the US, around 6,000 employees use state-of-the-art technology to develop sustainable, innovative energy solutions.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be involved in the development of a new intraday continuous trading system, requiring a deep understanding of critical and fault tolerant systems with a high load of messaging. They will liaise in an international environment with external and internal teams to design and develop the system, as well as its evolution as a product.</p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><p>As part of your responsibility, you will be involved at multiple stages in the life cycle of the applications. In different moments and contexts, you will:</p><p>• Providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to the development team.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technologies and technical designs.</p><p>• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes.</p><p>• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.</p><p>• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.</p><p><strong>What do you need to succeed?</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.</p><p>• Proven experience in software development especially in C# for the backend.</p><p>• Proven experience working with message queues, preferably Rabbit MQ.</p><p>• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.</p><p>• Experience with JavaScript and React/Redux</p><p>• Strong CI/CD experience.</p><p>• Solid understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.</p><p>• Good communication for customer interaction</p><p>• Fluency in English and a good understanding of Spanish.</p><p>• Nice to have: experience in observability, and logging tools and practices.</p><p>• Nice to have: previous experience with trading applications in energy or finance.</p><p>• Nice to have: experience with SignalR, M7 EPEX and/or Catrina API<br/></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong>:</p><p>• Lunch vouchers</p><p>• Health insurance</p><p>• Yearly Performance Bonus</p><p>• LinkedIn Learning / Plural Sight</p><p>• 90% discount on the nearby gym</p><p>• Hybrid work with 2 days at office</p><p>• Flexible Schedule</p><p>• 23 days of holidays</p><p>• Language lessons</p><p>• Learning and development opportunities</p><p>• Periodical travels to Switzerland<br/></p>
