Associate Operating Room Assistant, 1.0 FTE Variable

Surgical Services includes: Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit, and Sterile Processing. Our diverse team gets patients ready for surgery, is present in the OR with the patient while they have surgery, recovers them from surgery, and then educates and discharges patients home after surgery. We have the pleasure of caring for patients that have chosen to come to the hospital for surgery and it is rewarding to see how quickly we can make a positive impact on a patient's life.  We look forward to having you join us!

 

Associate Operating Room Assistant at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. This is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Variable Shift position and will be working during weekdays and weekends.

 

Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision and direction of the registered perioperative nurse. The Perioperative Aide assists in the OR function by cleaning and preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, retrieving and decontaminating equipment, stocking general supplies in the operating rooms. May provide limited patient care by assisting with opening supplies before surgery.

Required Qualification:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualification:

• Recent healthcare and/or operating room experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
