Job Description

To provide oversight of the timely completion of deliverables required by the project plan for the implementation of Workday Student for Minnesota State. This includes providing leadership to ensure Workday Student functionality is implemented in a way that results in the best outcome for Central Lakes College. This position leads the hands-on functional and technical project activities for the Student Workday implementation of the academic foundations, student data, student engagement functional area, including testing and roll-out support.  The position will provide leadership to ensure Workday Student academic foundations, student data, student engagement functionality is implemented resulting in the best overall outcome for CLC in alignment with the Minnesota State system.

Salary Range:

$27.84-40.82/hour, $58,130-85,232 annually

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill in developing strong relationships with individuals at all levels of a college campus and/or Minnesota State system.

  • Five years of successful and progressively responsible professional experience in Academic or Student Affairs.

  • Ability to manage large, systemwide projects from inception through execution and evaluation, determining project scope and deliverables, creating clear action steps, building project requirements and budgets, managing project constraints, costs and deadlines, and communicating progress and end results.

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

  • Ability to organize ideas; conceptualize problems; collect, analyze, categorize, and interpret relevant and irrelevant data using a variety of techniques and methodologies for resolving complex issues and providing written documentation.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate with a diverse set of clients, stakeholders and students, fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualification 

  • Three (3) years of experience performing or directing a college or university’s registrars, academic scheduling, student data or academic operations department using Minnesota State enterprise and third-party systems, such as ISRS.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team to complete assigned tasks, monitor and evaluate progress.

  • Demonstrated collaborative decision-making ability.

  • Demonstrated ability in project coordination, specifically removing barriers that impact minoritized communities or achieving culturally relevant results.

  • Self-motivated and demonstrates ability to be goal focused and results driven, including driving project related risks, issues and concerns to closure.

  • Ability to effectively interact, negotiate and influence staff at various levels of the organization.

  • Proven organizational skills sufficient to ensure on-time project deliverables.

Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)

8 hours/day, 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday
