As an employee‑owned firm, we foster a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment where engineers, architects, designers, and project management professionals come together to solve complex challenges and help clients realize ambitious visions.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>The Sr. Electrical Engineer operates as part of the department's leadership group to provide project technical direction, resource management, and mentorship and training for junior staff.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage a team of engineers and designers with focus on training, mentoring, and promoting professional development of junior engineers</li> <li>Design and prepare one-lines of electrical distribution including medium voltage, low voltage, and emergency power distribution systems</li> <li>Perform advanced level electrical calculations and analysis including generator sizing, short circuit analysis, overcurrent protective device coordination, arc flash risk assessment and mitigation strategies, underground cable ampacity calculations, and power factor correction</li> <li>Coordinate multi-project workload and effectively delegate tasks to Junior engineers while providing oversight and direction on the development of design for power, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, lightning protection, communications, and fire alarm systems</li> <li>Review and edit project specifications</li> <li>Participate in inter-discipline project coordination and promote communication between disciplines throughout the design process</li> <li>Visit construction sites to review, monitor, and report progress and perform other construction administration duties,
