They are responsible for the analytics and insights that are a critical feed into category strategies, opportunity identification, risk management, negotiations and the day-to-day running of the Procurement function. They centralise, visualise and analyse data with the latest tools for Procurement. They leverage data internally and externally to support decision-making & strategy development within the procurement function.</p><p>This role will work in very close partnership with the Global and Market Category Procurement teams as an integral part of the One Procurement Community.</p><p></p><p>About the Role</p><p>This role is responsible for supporting Procurement teams by delivering high quality research, analysis and insights. You will have specific responsibility for developing and owning key analytic elements to support the Marketing & Indirect category teams. You will also flex across other Procurement categories as required to provide key research & analysis.</p><p></p><p>The role has responsibility for providing high quality insights using internal & external data, conducting market intelligence research and various data visualization activities to support all strategy and negotiation propositions.</p><p>You will support the category strategies through fuelling charts and figures and relevant external reports into the category strategy decks, and act as custodian for the competitive benchmarking data process to capture and share insights which can be integrated into category solutions globally.</p><p>Leading research projects, you will enable business analysis and manage external research partners to bring external insights into the business.</p><p></p><p>About You </p><ul><li>You will have experience within Marketing and Indirects procurement with an understanding of how to utilise data to support procurement activities. Highly analytical, you will have solid experience in data modelling and insights delivery from fragmented data sources. You will be great at constantly scanning the external environment to bring key insights in to your stakeholders.</li><li>You will have a good level of written and numerical analysis to provide business insights with the ability to demonstrate a logical and structured way of thinking with good commercial skill.</li><li>Experience in communicating with impact and working remotely with different cultures and complex partner groups is also key.</li><li>Technical Skills:<ul><li>PowerBi (or equivalent visualisation tool)</li><li>Excel (intermediate to advanced)</li><li>Research report preparation</li><li>SAP ERP</li><li>Statistical data preparation, modelling & analysis</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p>Working with Us</p><p>Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location.
