About This Role
This leader of two direct reports will manage all aspects of HCP marketing, including personal and non-personal promotion, for this on-market brand that contributes the largest revenue to the Biogen US multiple sclerosis portfolio. Reporting to the Head of US Marketing, Senior Director, this leader will set strategy and vision and drive key investment decisions in collaboration with patient marketing counterpart.
What You’ll Do
- Lead strategic and tactical planning in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop and evolve brand positioning, claims optimization and messaging based upon label, existing data and anticipated publications
- Develop and rollout appropriate personal promotion resources for sales force and other customer facing teams.
- Support communication, sales force meeting and training initiatives, in collaboration with sales management
- Align digital promotions to media plan that drives optimal HCP engagement
- Execute segmentation strategy, in collaboration with multiple sclerosis brand leads
- Collaborate with customer and market insights team to derive insights, anticipate trends and measure brand and marketing initiative performance
- Ensure comprehensive competitive response planning and market event preparation
- Align with Market Access and Contracting partners to meet needs of HCPs and patients
- Develop KME engagement strategy (CAPE), including medical congress presence and Medical alignment
- Ensure HCP/Patient strategic brand alignment

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experiences
- Seasoned commercial professional in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, with 8-10 years' experience
- Immunology, neurology (particularly Multiple Sclerosis), infusion/buy-and-bill are a plus
- Demonstrated strategic brand management skills
- Analytical capabilities that demonstrate the ability to derive stakeholder insight from qualitative, quantitative, advisory board and field experience
- Ability to make decisions based on limited information
- Strong experience setting strategy and aligning multiple cross-functional partners and agencies
- Executive presence and ability to engage senior management effectively in presentations and meetings
- High-level multiple project management experience that demonstrates taking strategy to well-considered execution, especially across customer-facing teams
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA Preferred
