Senior Front-end Developer

As a Frontend Developer at VI Company….

you'll go beyond implementation and become a strategic technical advisor to major financial clients. This is a true senior position where you'll lead new projects, advise clients, and mentor junior developers all while having direct input on decisions that shape how banks and investors interact with their digital assets.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

• You work together with a multidisciplinary scrum team towards a shared goal: delivering high-quality financial platforms that find the perfect balance between functionality and user experience.

• You stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the frontend world through courses, international conferences, and knowledge sharing during our frontend craft circle and inspiration sessions.

• You are experienced with our tech stack, consisting of vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue.js, and thrive in an Agile environment with daily standups and regular client contact.

Project examples?

A trading game for RTL-Z to practice investment skills, the platform for ING Sprinters, or the web platform for VanEck ETFs. Also check out our first product, Alloq. And much more, that we're eager to share with you!

Requirements

• You Node how to Express yourself in Javascript/HTML/CSS and have experience with this for a minimum of 5 years.

• You want to work in a learning culture with highly skilled IT colleagues, short communication lines, great mentorship, and where we all share a passion for tech.

• You are not afraid to take ownership, and advise clients about features during refinements and sprint reviews.

• You are eager to learn new frameworks, tools and languages etc. 

• You are currently located in the Netherlands and able to work from our brand new office in Rotterdam regularly.

Bonus: You are team frontend, but hopefully also team weekend (as we all are). We like to celebrate that together during our Friday drinks at the VI-bar.
