Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Group accounting Services team as a Quality Assurance Analyst!

 

About the role

You will be responsible for ensuring financial and non-financial transactions and interactions are handled according to regulatory requirements, quality standards and published procedures. Responsible for helping to drive quality standards and practices and may act as a subject matter expert for procedure and training efforts.

 

 What you'll do in this role

  • Transaction and Customer/Agent/Broker Interaction Review -Conduct review of financial and non-financial transactions, document results, provide feedback and trend analysis to management and employee -Conduct review of customer/agent/broker interaction, document results, and provide feedback and trend analysis to management and employee. -Continuously driving quality standards in area of expertise

  • Provide subject matter expertise for procedure documentation and training efforts. -May provide occasional training for business areas.

  • Participate in projects and individual assignments. -Conduct self-audits, document results and analysis. -Report generation and regular review

  • Team Cross-Training -Required to cross train within Quality group to provide back-up on at least 1 or more business areas, program/initiatives, report generation/review

Compensation

Salary Range: $24.62- $41.14 plus eligibility for annual bonus program 

 

Who you are:

 

  • 5-7 years of cumulative, relevant experience
  • Requires extensive knowledge of duties.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and experience.
  • Analyzes and resolves varied office problems; uses initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines.
  • May be relied upon in escalation situations.
