Background information
ASML’s Strategy & Presidents Office advises, aligns, and facilitates the company’s Presidents, Board of Management, and Executive Committee. The goal is to define and execute ASML’s expansion strategy, by providing strategic insights and identifying opportunities for value creation. The Corporate Strategy & Business Development team, works on a daily basis to shape ASML’s future. The team explores, identifies, and capitalizes on specific growth opportunities and build strategic expansion rationales in complex technical fields including market evolution rationales.
Your assignment
This is a highly exciting assignment for a technology-oriented and strategy-oriented Master of Science student within the Corporate Strategy & Business Development team. The assignment is to dive into one or multiple specific technological fields/markets for strategic business development purposes. The student will for example do market research, and dive into scientific and congress papers to synthesize into a strategic storyline how this technical field/market is or is not relevant for ASML. The student is expected to present and deliver a final PowerPoint report with relevant insights and conclusions.
Your Profile
To be a perfect match with this internship, you:
Are a master student in Engineering, Econometrics, Business, Mathematics or Biology;
Are familiar with strategy and/or market research skills;
Have strong analytical skills, technological affinity and effective synthesis;
Have the ability to do individual research based on scientific and congress papers;
Have social skills to reach out to people within the organization for help.
This is a bachelor internship suitable for apprentice with a duration of 6-12 months, starting as soon as possible.
Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.
