Emplify Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Revenue Integrity to lead the day-to-day operations of our Revenue Integrity department. This leadership role is ideal for a revenue cycle professional who combines strong operational expertise with a passion for team development, compliance, and process improvement.

As the Manager of Revenue Integrity, you will serve a team of ~13 and will be responsible for staff performance, daily operations, workflow integrity, and execution of departmental initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Integrity, this role translates strategic priorities into operational excellence, directing charge capture processes, chargemaster governance, regulatory compliance, Epic system optimization, and cross-functional issue resolution. The Manager is the primary people leader for the team and is accountable for achieving departmental KPIs, developing staff capability, and ensuring that revenue is captured accurately, compliantly, and efficiently across all clinical service lines.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Direct and oversee daily operational workflows, work queues, and departmental processes to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant revenue integrity operations.

  • Establish, monitor, and report on departmental KPIs aligned to revenue goals; develop corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives in response to variances.

  • Oversee the department's internal audit program, ensuring the team conducts consistent, timely audits in compliance with payer and regulatory billing requirements.

  • Direct charge capture operations, chargemaster governance, and revenue recovery efforts, including oversight of annual pricing reviews, code set updates, and charge ticket accuracy.

  • Lead the new service line onboarding process, coordinating billing structure design, charge ticket development, payer policy validation, and compliance review prior to clinical go-live.

  • Collaborate with clinical, coding, finance, and operational leaders to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues; serve as the department's primary representative in cross-functional committees and workgroups.

  • Develop and communicate operational performance reports to the Director and key stakeholders, translating data trends into actionable recommendations for process improvement.

  • Develop and implement revenue integrity strategies across all clinical areas, partnering with the Director to translate organizational priorities into operational improvements that reduce revenue leakage.

  • Manage departmental budgets and resources, monitoring expenditures against plan and recommending adjustments to the Director regarding staffing, technology, and resource allocation.

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday Days typically 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Location: Remote eligible role. This position can be filled for residents of WI, MN, or IA. There may be occasional travel between the La Crosse, WI and Green Bay, WI regions

  • Compensation: Starting at $87,000 with opportunity for higher pay based on relevant work experience
     

What You'll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Hospital Administration, Business or related field. 

  • Experience: 5 years of progressive revenue cycle experience and

    2 years of demonstrated leadership experience in health care in Revenue Cycle, Required.

  • Certification/ License: Certification from a recognized professional coding or health information organization, such as AAPC or AHIMA, Required.

  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including charge capture, billing, coding, reimbursement, and denial management.

  • Experience leading Revenue Integrity functions within a large health system

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Epic Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL-based reporting platforms.
