URBN Transportation Specialist

Role Summary

URBN is looking for a Transportation Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the business by maintaining operational processes for International and Domestic inbound freight, ensuring data accuracy, and driving best practices. 

 

To ensure exemplary services are provided, you will be responsible for updating master reports with daily transportation updates, working with internal and external partners, and working with the transportation team to refine processes. The position is responsible for assisting day-to-day operations and driving efficiencies.

Role Responsibilities

• Accountable for daily data entry and maintenance; Transportation Management and PO Management Systems
• Track purchase orders, triage exceptions and provide status to internal stakeholders
• Partner with freight audit & pay provider to ensure accurate invoice submissions
• Maintain reports that are distributed both internally and externally
• Provide support to the transportation team using data to drive best practices and process improvement
• Create and maintain process documents to seamlessly replicate the work

Role Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supply chain or transportation related experience preferred
• Good quantitative and analytical skills 

• Drives for results while displaying enthusiasm, shows commitment to goals and is relentless in pursuing results
• Deadline driven and displays a sense of urgency
• Strong proficiencies in desktop software applications; Excel, PowerPoint
• Capable of learning new systems quickly
• Able to work efficiently both individually and as a team member
