School-Based Behavioral Health Therapist In-Training - Whitewater and Fort Atkinson School Districts

Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties and we are seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Therapist In-Training to join our Behavioral Health team. This position will split time between the Whitewater and Fort Atkinson School Districts.

The School-Based Behavioral Health Therapist In-Training provides individual and/or family therapy to children and adolescents within a school-based setting, under supervision of a licensed clinician. Responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, evidence-based interventions, and required chart documentation for assigned clients. The school-based behavioral health therapist in-training collaborates with other providers and clinical staff within FHC, school personnel, primary care and/or community supports as needed.

Responsibilities of this position include:

1. Conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments, formulate diagnosis, and monitors individual's treatment plan/interventions and updates treatment plan(s) as required.
2. Uses evidenced-based therapeutic treatment modalities for individual, family therapy or group therapy.
3. Provides crisis intervention/safety planning as needed.
4. Prepares timely clinical documentation in electronic medical record in accordance with policies and regulatory standards.
5. Actively participates in multi-disciplinary clinical collaboration and consultation within Fort HealthCare behavioral health.
6. Work collaboratively with other professionals within the school system/district regarding school-based referrals.
7. Maintains caseload as assigned; case management and/or aftercare planning as needed.
8. Demonstrate ability in working with diverse client population within the community for those with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
9. Provides community education, marketing outreach, and performance improvement activities as requested.
10. Completes department-specific orientation and annual competencies for this position.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
12. Active participation in weekly clinical supervision.
13. Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.  Experience with computers, knowledgeable with software programs and electronic health records. 

Requirements of this position include:

Masters Degree in Counseling; Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.

Current WI License: LPT-IT; APSW; MFT-IT

Shift:
80 hours per bi-weekly pay period

8:00 am-4:00pm; no weekends/no holidays
