Data Architect - SME

Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking to hire a Data Architect with an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance.

As a Data Architect you will be instrumental in designing and developing solutions to complex data sets. You will work with stakeholders to gather business needs and deliver mission focused solutions.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads the development of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations in support of business strategies.  

• Leads design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross functional view of data requirements.  

• Establishes processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata and takes steps to assure metadata accuracy, validity, and quality.  

• Provides leadership to drive system solution. 

• Provides guidance to local work groups.  

• Designs and builds relational and non-relational databases.  

• Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions.  

• Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. 

Required Qualifications

• • • • Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, data science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline); six additional years of experience is considered in lieu of a degree. 
      • JR.  Level:  1 - 4 years of experience 
      • Compensation: $77,800 - $120,375 
      • Mid Level:  5 - 8  years of experience 
      • Compensation: $93,420 - $146,005 
      • SR. Level:   8 - 10 years of experience 
      • Compensation: $124,200 - $194,065 
      • SME Level: 10+ years of experience 
      • Compensation: $151,700 - $237,50 
      • Experience using .NET, C#, Javascript, and Java 
      • Experience developing and maintaining components in AWS 
      • Experiene with Terrafom
      • Expeirence with Spring boot frame work
      • Experience operating in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment
      • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Niagra Files (NiFi), Apache TIKA 

• Experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture 

• Experience using tools and technologies such as ElasticSearch and OpenSearch. 

• Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation, teamwork and follow through. 

• Strong professional and interpersonal skills. 

• Experience incorporating open source tools into existing architectures as tools and technologies evolve.  

• Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools; Jira, Confluence.
