Barry’s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role


We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Business Analyst to support our real estate and broader business operations. This role plays a critical part in driving data-informed decision-making across our portfolio, development initiatives, and strategic real estate investments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business analysis, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including finance, development, and asset management—the Senior Business Analyst will help optimize performance, identify opportunities for growth, and support long-term strategic planning.


What you'll do


New Studio Identification

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Real Estate to prepare investment packages for new studio locations
  • Conduct feasibility analyses for prospective sites, including market assessments, competitive benchmarking, estimation of cannibalization risk, and broader regional analysis of foot traffic trends and co-tenancy dynamics
  • Build and deliver timely, accurate underwriting models and budgets to support financial reporting needs for investors and C-suite stakeholders
  • Develop presentation materials for investment committee meetings and HQ pipeline updates

New Studio Opening Support

  • Maintain competitive pricing benchmarks and conduct pricing analyses, partnering with Marketing to align price points with local market and across our portfolio
  • Analyze and recommend optimal time slots and instructor placement, partnering closely with Operations and Talent teams
  • Support marketing efforts, including for acquisition campaigns
  • Lead post-opening analytics, benchmarking performance against underwriting assumptions and peer studio ramp trajectories

Ongoing Business Analysis

  • Lead analytics and reporting for pop-ups and modalities (e.g., RIDE, LIFT)
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, financial modeling, and presentations

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, STEM, or a related field
  • Experience: Background in Finance, Consulting, and/or Real Estate preferred
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; SQL experience preferred
  • Core Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; effective oral and written communication skills
  • Financial Modeling: Experience building and maintaining complex financial models, including scenario planning and sensitivity analyses
  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with real estate and development a plus
  • Work Style: Highly organized, fast learner, reliable, independent, and collaborative
