This role leads and contributes to the achievement of business and department objectives through coordination and development of sales strategies and tactics with customers, ensuring implementation of established Integrated Customer Business Plans.  As a Senior Team Leader, you will provide leadership to a team and collaborate with other sales leaders and customers to capture best practices.

In this role, you will:

  • Understand market dynamics and customer strategies to inform planning and execution.
  • Foster a respectful, collaborative team environment that drives individual and collective performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic quarterly/annual plans, aligning weekly priorities and customer engagements.
  • Support sales teams with data-driven merchandising plans to meet volume, distribution, and supply chain goals.
  • Analyze customer trends and demographics, projecting forecasts 3–5 years ahead to guide strategic actions.
  • Maintain financial awareness in planning, identifying and resolving gaps in customer coverage and operations.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships, engaging with executives and internal stakeholders.
  • Adapt effectively to organizational change, supporting transitions and evolving strategies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person, with internal and external partners.
  • Leverage analytical tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint) to deliver insights, presentations, and business recommendations.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years in customer development, sales, or relevant experience.
  • Previous success leading sales teams and managing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others.
  • Travel 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Statistics and quantitative business analysis. Knowledge of Integrated Customer Business Planning Process and demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Business Planner software.
  • Results, strategy and vision orientation, leadership, strong oral and written communication, ethical judgment and decision making, change management, coaching, analytical, project and risk management, building relationships and time management
  • Resources and team management, active listening, adaptability, training and development, interpersonal and social perspectives
