About the role
We’re looking for a Fire Alarm & Fire Sprinkler Deficiency Estimator to join our team!
You’ll be responsible for identifying deficiencies in fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems within existing customer accounts that have been identified by field inspectors or other documentation. Responsible for promoting and selling products/services to correct these deficiencies while providing excellent customer service and completing turnovers in a timely manner. Accountable for achieving sales goals and desired revenues.
In this role you will:
Propose services for the customers, working with the customer, and completing the turnover in a timely manner. All inspections in Building Reports to be reviewed and proposal generated within 14 days of the inspection upload dateTriage customer priorities to determine what orders need to take priority and need to be completed firstProvide High Quality Service Hand Offs (turnover forms, clear scopes, team-oriented)Review 100% of red tags in Building Reports dailyKeep status tags updated in Building Report, Service Trade on All Red Tags: “Reviewed”, “Proposed”, “Accepted” & “Completed” (“Completed” should be by billing coordinators)Develop product knowledge concerning all of Performance Systems products and servicesExplain to customers the difference in products and services regarding fire suppression and monitoringMultitask and prioritize incoming deficiency requestsPerform Site walks as necessary for accurate quoting
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Must have the ability to persuade and close salesMust have the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales processExcellent interpersonal, customer service and salesExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customersSelf-motivated and ability to work with limited supervision
Requirements:
1 to 3 years’ sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment; knowledge in Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Alarm Systems highly desirableBachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferredMinimum High School diploma or equivalentValid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
