The position

 

 Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Oversee raw material planning for manufacturing facilities, ensuring efficient setup and management. 
• Collaborate closely with production areas as a strategic partner to enhance manufacturing processes in response to rising demands. 
• Lead the implementation of raw material optimisation projects across API and be a single point of contact between the central and local teams
• Strategically establish and enhance warehousing capacities throughout the value stream for optimal efficiency.
• Direct inventory planning, ensuring the achievement of strategic and operational targets while managing short- and long-term raw material budget strategies for global API manufacturing. 

 

You will act as the pivotal link between the central and local teams, offering insights crucial to support senior management in their decisions, while also cultivating an extensive network across the organization. 

Qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

 

• Hold a Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrate stakeholder management expertise within large organizations, driven by a passion for pioneering new ventures and continuous learning opportunities.
• Have experience in tools like SAP or OMP and a flair for learning new systems
• Preferably bring expertise in supply chain or production planning, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, along with a track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects for added advantage
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

About the department

API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.
