Location: We have opportunities for Operational Field Managers in our Process department, across the Yorkshire region. Where you live will determine the area you will be covering. The role is a flexible hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of spending a minimum of 3 days per week at the operational sites from where your team(s) operate.  The process department are a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Where you fit in:

 

As an Operational Field Manager, you will be responsible for driving and managing operational performance through effective management. This will be across a range of wastewater assets to achieve our company vision and our Performance Commitments, Pollution Incidents, Waste Stability and Reliability Factors, Customer Service, and Optimal Energy Consumption.

 

The role will involve internal and external key stakeholder liaison, supporting departments to prevent asset failure, drive mitigation and resolution of wastewater asset risks/failures and ensure our regulatory targets and key business objectives are achieved.

 

You will be accountable for all aspects of the Operational Field Team P&L, including business plan creation, forecasting, preparing of mid- month and month end financial performance reports, whilst providing assurance to the Head of WWPP that financial governance is being adhered to in-line with Financial Regulations.

 

You will work with our maintenance department to plan asset return to service and be accountable for wastewater performance within your region.

 

 

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • Experienced customer focused, people leader with proven success in managing large field-based teams, in busy operations environment, managing day to day reactive workloads.<
