Car Detailer - Part-Time

Avis Budget Car Rental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Car Detailer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our rental vehicles, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Vehicle Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize the interior and exterior of rental vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and waxing.
• Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles to identify and report any damage or maintenance needs.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for rental.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily cleaning and maintenance goals.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Competitive Pay: Hourly wage starting at $18 based on experience. Additional weekend shift pay differential of $2 is also available for qualifying shifts.

Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the summer.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
