What you will be doing as an Aircraft Interior Installer:
In this role, you can expect to remove and refurbish interior installations across a wide range of Textron Aviation aircraft. You’ll complete modification and restoration work on removed components, ensuring every detail meets our quality standards. You’ll then reinstall upgraded interiors in coordination with ongoing maintenance to deliver a refreshed, seamless cabin experience.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
· Interior Installation & Adjustments: Work from aircraft orders and engineering documentation to install, adjust, and fit upholstery, furniture, and interior accessories following standard shop practices
· Custom Layouts & First‑Time Installs: Support unique or first‑time interior installations by reviewing layout requirements and investigating installation details to ensure accuracy and fit
· Interior Modifications: Complete varying levels of interior refurbishment and modification work across all Textron Aviation aircraft, contributing to upgraded cabin experiences
· Quality‑Focused Installation Work: Perform basic installation and refurbishment tasks while ensuring records, inspections, and part tagging meet all Quality Control standards
· Tooling & Measurement: Use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete interior tasks efficiently and with precision
· Aircraft Interior Care: Maintain a clean, protected interior environment throughout the installation and modification process to ensure customer property is safeguarded
Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
• A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
• Ability to use blueprints, simple arithmetic, and simple measuring devices is required
• Experience in interiors installation, refurbishment, or modification is helpful
