We are seeking a professional like you to add value for BASF. As a Business Expert you will support the implementation of Senior Project NGBA in the US and Canada. The role will coordinate business requirements in import and export operations as well as lead the ongoing Export Improvement initiative to ensure process sustainability across all Operating Divisions. In this role it is important to design, and implement IS tools, processes, and systems based on the requirements for importing and exporting to all regions.

As a Business Expert you create chemistry by…

 

• Evaluating existing meetings and how to use or eliminate them to drive strategy (purpose, objectives, participants, how to measure effectiveness)
• Evaluating and prioritizing activities and ensure the harmonization of global, regional, and local projects with sites and regions (SCO Shared Service Platforms).
• Identifying strategic process requirements of all relevant stakeholders in BASF and structured handover to the responsible Process Owner. Preparing and conducting project status updates to relevant stakeholders and project steering committee.
• Providing expertise on supply chain operations, i.e., order management, transport management, etc., as well as leading the discussion to drive closures on the supply chain related activities prior to go-live
• Supporting interfaces for cross-process functions (O2C-F, P2P, B2R) Focus on content - Responsible for change management and consulting on master data structures of the impacted legal entity.
• Coordinating of data validation activities, including cross functional data which impact SC scope.
• Coordinating country-specific training materials (called Handbooks) as aids training and communication. Working closely with other in the local country platform to ensure smooth project delivery

 

If you have...

 

• Bachelor's Degree, major in Supply Chain or related fields is a plus.
• Experience in Project Management or with continuous improvement initiatives. 
• 3+ years' experience in Supply Chain Operations or Import/Export positions
• SAP Knowledge (including Master Data systems, GTS and OtC functions)
• Good communication skills to interact with different levels within the organization and across different functions
