Administrative Director

Position Summary

Direct administration of department; develop and implement policies and procedures, manage operational budget, advise students, and administer enrollment services (i.e., admissions, financial aid, and registration) as they pertain to student selection, monetary awards, and course enrollment. Assist Chair with the educational process.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree Required Experience:5 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience developing policies and procedures, planning curriculum or a program, managing budgets and supervising staff and operations.Preferred Experience:Experience in an academic environment, including advisement.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures. Excellent organizational, networking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Familiarity with spreadsheet and database applications.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $83,016.87 to USD $103,016.87. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
