About the role

Description

Objective

• Provides proactive project management guidance to Foremen and crews, ensuring effective coaching, job-site construction task oversight, and adherence to schedules.

• Maintains compliance with contractual agreements for each project while fostering positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

• Engages in daily collaboration with estimating teams, coordinators, and customers to ensure projects remain on schedule, have sufficient manpower, correct materials, and the availability of necessary equipment.

• Keeps management informed of project progress, potential challenges and roadblocks.

Skills/Responsibilities

• Is the project liaison from our office to the job-site and back to the GC or customer.

• Provides complete “hands on” construction process knowledge with mechanical aptitude.

• Responsible for Foreman and Field Support personnel including discipline.

• Responsible for facilitating appropriate jobsite manpower and safety needs.

• Responsible for providing accurate weekly job-site schedules of all construction activities, critical vendor deliveries and forecasting for job planning schedules.

• Computer proficient in: Procore Construction Management, Smartsheet project and Microsoft Office or equivalents to regularly create, manage, and update projects, job information and schedules.

• Responsible for creating RFI’s and supporting documentation including cost and materials. • Influential communicator who positively guides and influences others for success.

• Discipline: Pro-active, result oriented, problem-solving approach.

• Drive: Multitasker, self-starter with follow through and follow up.

• Any other related duties as assigned for the success of the company.

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in Commercial Construction
  • Influential communicator to positively lead and influence others to success.
  • Proven leadership with multiple Foreman and Field Crews from office to jobsite.
  • Timely, organized and works well under pressure.
  • Proficient in- Procore Construction Management, Smartsheets, Microsoft Office software or equivalents.
  • Proactive, results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
